Mohair SA

Mohair is coool.

I sat for 3 days participating in guerilla knitting

 which is basically to knit on a live model at the design 

indaba over the past weekend.

I was fortunate to briefly meet Lidewij Edelkoort and

Sergio Machado (leading trend forecasters) for a brief 

minutes as they came to the stand to carry over the 

concept of what they wanted. They are probably 

the most energetic people I have met in ages!!!

On the way to Cape Town I actually sat and practiced

my crochet skills in the bumper-to-bumper traffic

and sang along to some bubblegum pop on the radio

while realizing that the craft of knitting and

crocheting is ridiculously therapeutic. Thank you to 

Mohair SA for igniting the love of mohair in me!
